About this knowledge base

SpringNE Standard Operating Procedures is the controlled documentation library for SpringNE teams. Use this page before you dive into SOPs, Apps & Platforms, or Manuals.

Purpose

This site brings approved procedures, application how-tos, and retailer manual pointers into one place. Process articles describe what to do and who is responsible; app guides describe where to click in software. When a SharePoint file or customer manual is the official record, this site links to it and explains how it fits your work.

Tags

Every published article has tags in its metadata. Tags cut across sidebar sections so you can find related content without knowing which folder it lives in.

Open Tags in the header to browse all tags and the articles under each one.

Typical tag types include:

  • Retailer or manual — for example sainsburys
  • Topic — for example packaging, risk-assessment
  • Platform — for example crm, spring-hub
  • Function — for example order-management, design, technical

Use the sidebar when you know the function; use Tags when you know the topic but not the exact process name. Tags do not replace the official process title in the article.

Process articles

SOP process articles share the same layout. App guides under Apps & Platforms are UI walkthroughs and do not use this structure.

  1. Under SOPs, open the business function, then Processes, and choose the article for your task.
  2. Read Scope (coverage), Purpose, Owner, and Applies to — confirm what the procedure covers, who owns it, and who must follow it.
  3. Follow linked acronyms to the Glossary when a term is unclear.
  4. Execute the numbered steps in Process in order. Use the Process flow diagram for a quick view; expand it when there are more than five steps.
  5. Use Forms to be used (when listed) and the Forms catalogue for SharePoint forms.
  6. Use Tutorial when a video is linked — it supports the steps; it does not replace them.
  7. Use Exam after the tutorial when a Microsoft Form is published — it is in the same article.
  8. Check Changelog at the bottom of the article for recent revisions.
