Production Wash ALL Test

Scope

Purpose: The Production Wash ALL Test monitors wash performance while bulk production runs. The factory washes representative garments each production day so wash-related faults surface before shipment. This is separate from SpringNE In-House Tests, which run in the office laboratory.

Owner: QA / GT.

Applies to: Factory quality teams, SpringNE QA, and vendors running bulk production.

Process

  1. Wash daily during bulk production. For each running style, wash a minimum of 2 garments per production day.

    • Second-quality garments may be used if every existing fault is identified and marked before washing.
    • Mark faults so pre-wash issues are clearly distinct from wash-related results.
  2. Follow the care label programme. Wash garments according to the care label.

    • Regular garments: 3 washes.
    • Embellishment garments: 5 washes.
  3. Evaluate after each wash. The factory reviews appearance after every wash cycle and reports problems to the SpringNE QA team.

  4. Keep washed samples available. Retain washed samples on site for inspection.
